Emmanuel Witzthum


Emmanuel Witzthum – a cultural entrepreneur, creative strategy specialist, and musician.

Emmanuel combines work as classical musician and composer, new media artist and creator and initiator of experiences that explore the relationship of cities, community building, music and Technology.
He has created artistic collaborations with partners such as IRCAM, Paris; Google; The Alvin Ailey Dance Company; The Future en Seine Festival, Paris; The Matadero, Madrid; The Jewish Culture Festival, Krakow, The Jewish Museum, Berlin; The Magnes museum, Berkeley, The Jerusalem Season of Culture, the ZKM, Karlsruhe.
He has performed as violist with the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra in NYC, The Berlin Staatskapelle, Ensemble Intercontemporain amongst others in Asia, the USA, Europe and Israel. He has recorded for Deutsche Grammophon under Pierre Boulez with Ensemble Intercontemporain.

Has released electro acoustic music on numerous labels in France, the UK and Belgium.
